"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

Let's try and make everybody equal!

I have a buddy, not quite a millionaire, but young and rich with several used car dealerships. It amazes me that he bitches about taxes, but what amazes me is the fact he is a responsible bitcher, not a senditin. He knows his community needs help, he knows they don't have enough resources, and he knows he knows how to distribute the resources better than the government could. Its not that he wants to keep all his money to masturbate on it at night, but rather manage his own contributions to the community to make it a better place.

Thank you for agreeing with me. I'm not talking about making charitable contributions...I'm talking about people like Hillary who wants to direct the "common good" and confiscate your money through higher taxes. It's not HERS it's YOURS. Kudos to your friend!!

Hey, I got an idea. Why don't we just abolish taxes altogether? After all, it's your money not Hillary's.

Oh, but then we wouldn't have $180 billion dollars to send our troops to fight and die in Iraq. My bad.

Hey Mud,

Big difference between capitalism and socialism. Even my boy Phaedrus will probably agree with me on this one...if we could only get him away from that online casino...

P.S. Let's say Mud you were a lousy gambler who always lost money and I was winning all the time. Hillary wants to take money from me to give it to you "for the greater good" so you in effect become dependent on this handout instead of giving you the tools to be a better gambler and get out of the hole. So what would most people do in your situation...continue to take the handout and not improve your gambling!
